We use Adobe Catalyst – this is an important part of our business. We got 6 installed VoIP phones 2 weeks ago, and since then, Catalyst has failed to work properly. Is this to do with phones? I am conducting a research on the business model behind the television industry, particularly television channels 24 hours a day for news. I'm looking for sources that look in detail how the networks make money and, if possible, how these forces could influence the content that appears on their networks. You know what I found? Most of the channels (regardless of the content that lead) to make money in exactly the same way. They show commercials. Advertisers pay for their commercial aired on the station. The reason why ratings are important is that a channel that attracts a large number of spectators can pay more for commercial time of a channel that has only a few spectators. And that's all. No broadcaster will make any significant amount of money in any other way, except for the sale of commercial time.
